Stockman Design is a boutique studio specializing in residential architectural and interior design, established by designer Jessica Stockman. She designs timeless, modern, site-specific homes that draw inspiration from New Hampshire’s varied natural landscapes, using natural and heritage-inspired materials. Her signature style merges vintage lake aesthetics with Alpine and modernist influences. The studio is situated in downtown Wolfeboro, NH, overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee.
Distinctive, thoughtful custom home design
Stockman Design utilizes a design process that is thoughtful, creative, intuitive, client-centric, and comprehensive. We design homes from the ground up that reflect the aesthetic our clients envision, while incorporating our expertise in scale, balance, form, and functionality into every element of the project, both inside and out.
What we believe
We believe that homes are our sanctuaries. They are gathering places for sharing time with people we love, for working, for crafting the meals that nourish our family, for watching our kids grow. They are our basecamp to prepare for and return from adventures. These spaces should serve to recharge and nurture us. They should feed, calm, and soothe our spirits. This is the overriding principle that drives all our designs.
From start to finish
Engaging Stockman Design in your project from the beginning of any new build or renovation allows us to collaborate closely with your builder or general contractor, as well as all relevant trades, to produce design and construction documents that equip both you and your builder with all necessary information to accurately price and execute your project. Additionally, we handle the specification, ordering, and white-glove delivery of all furnishings required for a well-styled home, managing everything from site planning to the final placement of pillows on the sofa.
